OVHS Fundraising Meeting

Greetings OVHS Members and Volunteers!

There’s been much progress at OVHS as we move ahead with plans to have a permanent home at Steam Pump Ranch.  As you know, we are an independent 501(c)(3) and receive no public funding.  Raising money for our operational expenses, exhibits, programs and other activities is an important and necessary function of OVHS.

Plans are underway for two fundraising projects beginning this fall.  We are planning to have a Christmas Market tent at the Steam Pump Ranch Farmer’s Market beginning in November and ending in mid-December.  We’re also planning a dinner program (in early spring) with an antiques expert lecturer who will evaluate antique items brought in by the attendees.

In order to coordinate and accomplish these events, we need your help!  The Fundraising Chair, Teri Colmar, will have a meeting to kick-start the events and brainstorm ideas.  We hope you can attend and lend a hand.  Both events will be discussed at the meeting.
