Book Discussion December 8

Did you ever wonder what life was like in Oro Valley in 1865?  Jim Williams will discuss the history of Oro Valley as presented in his book, “Claiming the Desert: Settlers, Homesteaders and Ranchers in Oro Valley, Arizona, 1865-1965″.  This discussion will not only interest history buffs but will satiate your curiosity about what life was like in our own home town as it was settled.

The talk will take place at the Western National Parks Association (the National Parks Store) in Oro Valley on Saturday, December 8th at 12:00 noon and be repeated at 2:00 pm.  If you wish to attend, please call to reserve a seat one week before (520-622-6014).
