Arizona Pathfinders March 14 Potluck
February 11, 2017, was a great day to learn about adobe bricks from Adobe Specialist, David Yubeta. We had a terrific turn-out of volunteers at Steam Pump Ranch to help OVHS start the process of reconditioning and preserving the chicken coops. We created approximately 50 different shapes and sizes of adobe bricks, by hand, and using material off the property. We will be having a second workshop to use the newly created adobe bricks to mend the chicken coop at the ranch after they completely dry (approximately 4-5 weeks). Keep checking the website and FB for updates.
Thank you, David Yubeta for taking the time to come out and teach us how to make adobe bricks.
Thank you, Volunteers for coming out to help make this workshop a success.

Oro Valley Historical Society Member,
I apologize for last minute changes; if you offered to volunteer for February’s Second Saturday on the 11th, OVHS will not be at the Pusch House. We were told that because of the Adobe Workshop, the Pusch House will be closed, therefore we do not need volunteers that day. However, OVHS will be manning the Pusch House on February 18th for the Oro Valley Wine Festival. We do need help on the 18th from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. If you can help out on the 18th please email jojosamdg@gmail.com.
