DESCRIPTION:Roger Nichols\, Professor Emeritus at the University of Arizona\, and Oro Valley Historical Society Board member has spent years collecting cartoons that explore American Indians in many aspects of America’s story including the Norse forays into North America more than 1\,000 years ago to NASA’s modern-day space missions\, military events\, treaty negotiations\, immigration\, sports mascots\, tribal enterprises\, Thanksgiving imagery\, and current political themes.
