Our resident historian and author, Jim Williams, will have a book display and signing at the Tucson Festival of Books on Saturday, March 2 from 12 to 2 on the University of Arizona Campus. Jim will be in the Independent Author section of the Festival.
Jim’s recent book, “Claiming the Desert, Settlers, Homesteaders and Ranchers in Oro Valley, Arizona 1865-1965″ is a wealth of information on local history and lore. Jim is generously donating proceeds from the book to the Oro Valley Historical Society! Thank you Jim!
