It’s Arizona’s birthday, so let’s celebrate! The Oro Valley Historical Society’s exhibit from February 15 – March 15 commemorates Arizona’s 113th birthday, and you can learn how we became a state on our own, instead of connected to New Mexico – what?! The Pusch House Museum is located on historic Steam Pump Ranch at 10901 North Oracle Road, and will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. – noon. Tours are self-guided with volunteers on hand to answer questions, and they are FREE with donations gladly accepted.
On February 15, we will also offer hour long guided tours around the Ranch with volunteer Paul Canez, outdoor activities guide at Miraval. The first tour begins at 9:15 a.m. and the second at 10:30 a.m. Bring a hat, water, closed toe comfortable shoes, and curiosity about who lived on the Ranch before it became a historic park. Again, the tour is FREE, and donations are accepted to keep Oro Valley history alive!
