Where were you Monday, February 24 at 7:00 a.m.? Peg O’Connell and Teri Colmar were at the KVOI 1030AM studios with Chris DeSimone! Chris graciously gave us a time slot to talk about the Oro Valley Historical Society and specifically our upcoming event: $$Priceless$$ on Thursday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oro Valley Country Club, 300 W. Greenock, Oro Valley.
The event will feature Catherine Baron of Catherine’s Estates and Appraisals (Certified Appraiser and formerly on the Antiques Roadshow) who will give a talk on antiques followed by a verbal appraisal of your item. Items must be limited in size to something that can fit on your lap. Items need not be antiques. Jewelry, pottery, paintings are all welcome!
Tickets are $75 and include dinner. Cash bar offerings will be available. To purchase a ticket visit https://www.eventbrite.com. Enter Oro Valley Historical Society in the “Search Event” box at the top of the page. Seating is limited.
But wait there’s more! There will be FOUR fabulous raffle prizes. Tickets for the raffle are available ONLY by attending the event. Prizes include a stay at a vacation time share in Pine Top, an original oil painting by local artist Gail Munden, dinner for two at the Oro Valley Country Club and a staycation at the El Conquistador Tucson!
All proceeds will benefit the Oro Valley Historical Society a 501(c)(3) non-for profit organization, Keeping Oro Valley History Alive!
