Volunteer Opportunities 2025/2026:

• Collections / Research – obtain, document, and maintain OVHS artifacts and collections. Research and write copy for exhibits.
• Displays Set Up & Change Out – work with Collections & Research teams to design, set up and change out museum and public library exhibits.
• Docents / History Tours – guides for tours and exhibits at the Pusch House Museum and Steam Pump Ranch property, and special events in the Oro Valley Community.
• Events & Programs – collaborate with other community groups or local businesses to drive awareness of OVHS and more visitors to the Pusch House Museum.
• Fund Raising – ideate and coordinate a variety of fundraising activities and sponsor solicitations.
• Grant Applications – research, apply for, and follow up on grant applications for enhancements to OVHS and the Pusch House Museum.
• Heritage Garden – plant and maintain the Heritage Garden at Steam Pump Ranch.
• Information Booth Ambassador – engage with the community on Saturdays at Steam Pump Ranch and special events to share details about OVHS and invite them to visit the museum.
• Newsletters – Gather content and create monthly newsletter for publication via email, social media, and website.
• Photography, Videos, Documentary Films, Oral History – use your skills to create content for the website, exhibits, and social media.
• Publicity, Communication, Marketing – create content for fundraising activities, exhibits, and events using social media, newsletters, email and other varieties of media to engage with the community.
• Volunteer Coordinator – Recruit, coordinate, schedule and communicate with volunteers; track hours.
• Website / Tech Support – maintain website with timely updates, optimize site performance & traffic.
